How it Works

  • A qualified instructor will come to your child's school or public venue to run a class once a week.

  • Lessons run for 30 minutes.

  • Lessons include a warm up to music, stretch and tone and working with specialised equipment.

  • We believe in rewarding children to build their self esteem — each child receives a sticker or special hand out at the end of every class.

  • A certificate will be given to your child at the end of each term.

  • At the end of each year your child will receive a special Monkeynastix® medal.

Positive Reinforcement
Monkeynastix uses positive reinforcement to encourage your child(ren) to excel. Our rating scale has no failing marks, ranging from "Almost there" to "You're a natural", the wording used in evaluating your child's progress is never discouraging, but rather encourages their self-confidence as they improve their skills at a level that is suitable to their age and level of development.

Perceptual Motor Evaluation Report
Following enrollment in the Monkeynastix program, a Perceptual Motor Evaluation Report is performed to assess your child(ren)'s current level of balance, fine and gross motor skills, co-ordination, and so-on. With fun activities such as jumping, ball throwing and hopping on one leg, this evaluation is instrumental to your child's instructor in understanding specific areas of improvement for each individual child. With this basic knowledge, the instructor is able to provide the highest level of instruction through effective planning and monitoring of lessons.
